Specs:
# Sound Soother® masks disturbing noise with 20 innovative sound environments.
# AM/FM digital PLL tuner with 12 presets. Wake to soother, radio, buzzer or church bells.
# Backlit LCD shows 12/24 dual time; °F/°C temperature; month; day.
# Comes with stereo earbuds and pouch. Runs on 4 AA batteries (order separately) or plugs in using the optional AC adapter (SM917, $9.95).
# One-year warranty.
I bought one of these several months ago when they were half price for new ones (used a Discover card certificate). I use it as my mobile office radio (primarily AM talk radio) and it does a decent job. The sound soother options are nice when traveling and staying in noisy hotels. I get a full 5 day work week of play on 8-hour days on a fresh charged set of 4 AA 2250mAH NiMH batteries. Definately not worth the $99 list price, but not bad for $20 bucks or so.
