How about the 27F541?

Anyone know about that one? It says it has a two-line digital comb filter...?

I have the 32" LCD on the wall. Using my media cener PC through DVI, and the XBox 360 through component(720p). Awesome. I love it. It had HDMI input as well. tons of inputs, great quality. CC has it for $1299 now.

Is it this model? If it is, you got a great deal!

you will get two sides of the fence on sharp. i have a friend that bought a 10000 plasma... and it died in a week. so he took it back (they came and got it) and he bought a hitachi plasma and hasnt looked back. He ended up paying like half price for the hitachi and he couldnt be happier.

with tvs, get a warranty. especially if you spend the big time money on it.

Yep, saw it in the paper the pther day for $1299 at either CC or BB, one of the two, because I remember paying $1619.99 on labor day for mine.

I've had bad luck with several Sharp products & won't buy anything from them again.. I'd consider Panasonic or Toshiba instead even if they cost more.

I want the 45 inch Aquos 🙂

But the only experience I have with Sharp products are their business cals. Worked Great for me 🙂

Cheers,
Aquaman

yes they are. My parents had a 27" Sharp that lasted...around 20 years and still worked perfectly. In fact, it still works, we just decided to give it to the movers when we moved into our new house.

Thats the same one I got about 6 months ago. I have enjoyed it so far. And suprisingly, my computer hooked up to it using svideo, looks pretty sharp (no pun intended) at 800x600. Playing DVDs through it look great. I "calibrated" it using my Avia disc and it really looks nice , especially for $229.

Also, I use the fixed audio output and play the TV audio through my surround system and it sounds good.

Also the personal preference thing is sort of neat. I set up my 4 favorite channels on 4 different buttons so I can get to them really fast.
