1080p is wasted on a 32 inch television.
Well, thats my point. If it is used as a television in the home the viewers will sit at least 5 feet away and at that point the 1080p becomes pretty much non-apparent versus 720p or 1080iOriginally posted by: bunnyfubbles

You can find Sharp's own 46" 1080p Aquos for that price

We're getting closer and closer to the point where LCD computer monitors and LCD TVs will sort of blend together. Saying that I can also say 1080p certainly isn't wasted on such a monitor. I can tell the difference between 720p and 1080i/p on a 24" (1920x1200) monitor - 32" is going to make it all the more obvious.
Granted, monitors of such size are largely best used for as a personal display, not one you'd want to share with several people.

$2G.... hardly worth it, seeing as you can pic up a 1080i one for around 500 bucks. Is the imagine 4x better? No... you can harly see the difference.
