Sharp Pain in my Right Arm

My mom woke me up around 8am today to move some table and right after I went back to sleep until around noon. But I noticed a sharp pain in the wrist area of my right arm. I figured it would go away or whatever after the sleep.

Well, it's now 4:30pm, about 9 hours after I lifted the table and I am still getting a sharp pain going in the wrist area of my right arm.

It's not a horrible pain and it is kind of a pulsating pain. I feel the sharp pain every minute or so. So it's not a constant pain.

I was lifting quite a heavy table (only maybe 5 feet) but due to it's design, I don't know if I could have screwed up something:

Drawing of the Table: http://www.mrcodedude.com/pix/102004/table.png

The table is the gray thing and on top of the table is about a half inch thick piece of wood that just lays on the table to give the table more surface area. Therefore, I can't lift the red thing because it isn't attached to the table.

The green thing is my arm. I have to reach under the table and when lifting up, my wrist is pressing directly against that half inch piece of wood. It wasn't a pleasant feeling, but I only spent like ten seconds lifting the table.

It puzzles me why I still feel this pain. It's more unsettling than it is painful though.

Any ideas?

Give it a day or two, if the pain persists u might have fractured your wrist. That's my guess anyways

Yes, I lifted the several hundred pound table with my penis. And now my right arm hurts. 🙁

hairline fracture or more likely you bruised or sprained it. The same thing (kinda) happened to me about three months ago, and it was a sprain due to the angle it looks like you were lifting from. Of course, I'm not a Dr. see one soon, try ibuprophen (Advil) and ice till then.

where exactly is the pain? if you have your palm up (like holding a bowl), which part of the wrist is hurting...left part of the wrist or right part? Are any of your fingers hurting or tingling? which ones?

any weakness in any muscle?

any pain anywhere else besides the wrist? forearm? arm?

might be able to help you out if i get these info...

Palm up, looking at my right arm, the right side of the wrist hurts. No pain/tingling in the fingers. No weakness in muscle. Umm, no other pain.
