Am not a stereo Buff. Will this thing be able to take a Pro Logic Amp to Dolby Digital level?Be nice to not have to get rid of my old Denon and move up to DVD.
Thanks

Because this player has a dolby digital decoder and 6 line outputs it is possibile. You will be able to get dolby digital 5.1 on your prologic receiver only if it is dolby digital ready. That basically means it has to have 6 channel preamp inputs to accept the 6 channel dolby digital decoded sound. Your dennon may or may not have it. Look on the back pannel for 6 rca plugs labeled preamp input or something along those lines. This does not appear to decode DTS sound as far as I can tell.
