I currently am using a paltry Dell 1907FP and want to move to a bigger monitor when I upgrade my rig. I know people have suggested the Westinghouse or Spectre 37" 1080p monitors, but what about this "sharp" model. Its response time is an amazing (claimed) 6ms. I am willing to shell out the extra premium over the westinghouse or spectre models (if the 6ms claim is true) because I want to use it as a hub for my future rig, future ps3, and current desktop replacement laptop (dell xps1710). This means I would like 2 HDMI and 1 DVI port. The rig I plan on building will utilize hdmi video cards when they become available with dx10 as well, and my laptop has a dvi out. So what I am asking is whether it is really worth it is feasible (responsible) to have a 37" pc monitor (6ms seems like it could be used for gaming) and whether anyone likes the Sharp despite its price. I'm sure oblivion would look awesome on such a large monitor or is this a pipe dream? Also how far away would I have to sit to make sure I don't blind myself? (I kind of like the idea of immersing myself in my games) Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.
