I have a Sharp Aquos 42" 1080P LCD TV that is hooked up to my home theater PC. I use a DVI to HDMI cable to display the computer on the TV and run it at 720P mode.

I just reformatted the computer and installed a new CPU, MOBO, RAM and Video Card. I am now getting the message on the TV "an incompatible audio signal has been received" every 5 or so minutes. I think the Video Card is causing the problem since the audio from the computer is not going into the TV, it goes to a receiver. The video card is an EVGA 9500GT. Before reformatting I used a radeon 1650 Pro and before that a radeon 9550. I never got the "an incompatible audio signal has been received" message.

Did I just get a video card with static or feedback that is going over the DVI to HDMI cable?
Anyone know a way to stop that or stop the message from popping up on the Sharp LC42D62U?
Should I just go back to a Radeon video card?

Thanks

I think the TV is the LC42D62U. It is about 1.5 years old.

My video card is a 9500GT
