This slim-line television is part of Sharp's D64U Series of AQUOS® Full HD 1080p HDTVs. Boasting a significantly smaller footprint than previous models, the D64U series allows consumers to fit more TV into less space.

Slim design
To achieve the exceptionally thin depth, Sharp engineers redesigned the circuitry inside the LCD panel and reduced the overall number of components, resulting in a cabinet that's 25 percent slimmer than previous AQUOS models. In addition, the advanced design trims the weight of the displays by as much as 20 percent. Thanks to the thinner bezel and recessed stealth speakers, consumers are able to appreciate a larger picture without giving up more wall or cabinet space.

Unparalleled performance
The D64U AQUOS series provides a superior Full HD 1080p picture with unparalleled performance, utilizing Sharp's proprietary Advanced Super View (ASV)/Black TFT Panel with Multi-Pixel technology. The panels produce an impressive 10,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio that delivers deep blacks and detail in dark scenes. The 6ms response time (4ms on 42"/46"/52"/65") allows for crisp images, even in fast-moving scenes.

Deep colors
The LC-32D64U incorporate Sharp's 4-wavelength backlight system, which provides deep, vibrant reds.

Get a great view from any seat
Generous 176-degree viewing angles offer consumers the ability to view the picture from virtually anywhere in the room.

Full array of inputs
The LC-32D64U are outfitted with a full array of inputs including two HDMI? version 1.3 (x.v.Color?), two component HD - all 1080p-compatible - a PC input and an RS-232C port for control. The Energy Star-compliant D64U series TVs maintain very low power consumption.

What do you mean by native 1080p?

This unit should output 1080p depending on the signal you send it. Send it a 1080p signal, it will output it.

Read the first fucking sentence of the ad:

"This slim-line television is part of Sharp's D64U Series of AQUOS® Full HD 1080p HDTVs."

The only thing that says 1080p compatible are the inputs.

I almost want to pull the trigger on this one. It seems like a decent price and all, but I just know that I'll regret buying it after a week or so (which is a personal problem).

As I type this I still want so badly to add it to the cart and checkout, but I really shouldn't.

Wow, I'm so conflicted. :(

Edit: Well, I added it to my cart, went through the checkout steps, clicked on the final checkout button, and I get an error. I hope the order wasn't semi-processed or anything like that. I guess I'll have to give them a call tomorrow to make sure things weren't charged or multiple orders weren't received.
