The actual name of party is going to be apparently going to be the "National Responsibility" party. This is definately a VERY interesting development. Right now it looks likely that Sharon is going to be able to be to sucessfully form a coalition government with his party being the most right leaning member of it after the new election. This basically means Sharon is going to have to take some steps that the other members of the coalition view as tangible steps towards peace or other parties in the coalition will withdraw and force a new round of elections.
The other interesting detail is that "Sinui", the closest thing to an Israeli secular party, which wants greater seperation between the "church and state" and dislikes the Ultra Orthodox Jews and their influence upon Israeli government, is almost certain to be a member of the coalition. With most of the more Orthodox party representatives out of the new government, this could have some interesting consequences for government policy in the social realm.
