realtor is hard work, and people actually make living wage and pay taxes, using which politicians encourage other people to be lazy and mad at other politicians... its a integral part of economy.

What an ignorant comment. Science, including understanding the history of this planet, its species and how we came to be here is an important endeavor. Understanding what happened to species in the past might even save our bacon someday, or maybe not, since we are still busily destroying the environment. But at least having the knowledge opens up the possibility.
