Shark Bite and Moose Drool

So what is your beverage of choice tonight? I stopped by the local organic health food type store to pick some beer. Picked up some Moose Drool (which i'm sure many of you have heard of or had) and picked up some Shark Bite Red Ale from Port Brewing Company.

The Shark has a very heavy smokey flavor...but it's good. 🙂

Pacifico. My favorite mexican beer. The Moose Drool and Shark Bite are good? I keep seeing them at the store and I've been tempted to try them but I haven't yet. I've been drinking that Sam Adam's Summer Ale lately, that stuff is good.

The Shark Bite smoke flavor is too much for me. I won't be able to drink more than one here and there. I like the Moose Drool. It's a brown ale much like Newcastle.

I picked up some of the Sam Adams White Ale, and the sampler pack of Honey Porter, Black Lager and Brown Ale. I didn't care much for the Black Lager, but i don't like chocolate undertones in my beer...I LOVE Guinness but most other stouts have that chocolate taste, and I don't care for that. The Honey Porter is really good, and the Brown Ale is pretty standard brown ale, nothing special. I do like the white ale though....

ANyone tried Pete's Rally Cap Ale?

Crooked Tree tonight.

Organic Cabernet Sauvignon tomorrow night 🙂

Haven't heard of Crooked Tree. Where is it out of? What brewing company?

The wine thread is here by the way. 😉

I'm a big fan of Shark Bite, as well as many of the other brews from Port Brewing. Their Old Viscosity is good imperial stout. Tonight I'm having some Lagunitas Censored and possibly Stone Imperial Russian Stout.

I got some "BrouChzech" from Trader Joe's. It's 4.99 a 6er...and not too bad. It's your typical eastern European beer though....but not as bad tasting as a Heiniken....😀

I love Moose Drool. It's a sweeter brown ale. I can't find it around the midwest at all though.

🙁

DOH!

I missed that.

BTW, great taste in beer. 🙂
Obviously. 😛

LMFAO.

After 4 Guinness and 2 Boddington's....i'm allowed to "call you out". 😛
OH...and a BrouCzech. 😛

I had to tap into the reserves tonight, Sierra Nevada pale ale.

However, camping this weekend calls for 3 different IPA's. Stone, Pike Place, and Redhook brews. 😀
