Sharing software between Windows XP and Windows 2000

I installed simplified Chinese windows 2000 for work. So now, I have two windows OS on my laptop, WinXP and Win2K. Is there a way to let both OS use the same software such as Office XP, Palm Desktop... and so on? I have too little free storage left to install duplicates of most 'productivity' software for each OS...

You should be able to install a copy of your apps in each OS to the same folders and run them without much problem.
