Setting are the following:
Win XP in 3 PCS
TCP IP
Shared folders in all of them
Same workgroup
Norton Firewall with setting to allow LAN pcs to read, modify, change any info on shared folders.
I can see the pcs on the LAN from anywhere (whitin the LAN), but there is only one that I can not access the shared folder, because is asking for the user name and password to access the shared folders. And I didn't set up any password, and of course I'm logged as an administrator in all of them.
I ran the network wizard to see if something had change, and verify networks setting and still no go.
Any ideas???

Thanks in advance and happy 4th of July.

The 'administrator' account on one machine is not the same as the 'administrator' account on another. You have to log into a remote machine using an account that resides on that machine.

Yes, you are correct, and I forgot to mention that, I'm login into the remote pc with a local account, and still it doesn't let me log on.

Have you created identical accounts on each of the machines? Since you are peer to peer and not using a server, user "bob" on machine one must also exist on the other machines he needs to access, with the same password as well. Since you're logging on as administrator, you must create a password for that account on all your machines. I don't believe XP will allow remote access on accounts with no password.

Same user names and same password are already in place, but still keep asking for username and password.
