I live in a suite-style dorm room with 3 other guys. For convience we are trying to figure an easy and secure way to share our printers and folders with each other. I dont want to set up a ftp server and I really want to share things over the network even if we do set our own workgroup.
Is there a program out there that could be used for a purpose such as ours? If not, what would be the easist way to share these things? I obviously dont have extensive knowledge in this subject so bare with me.
Also, I get the impression that Remote Desktop in XP allows users full access to the hosts' computer. I would rather not have that. If we choose to use Remote Desktop, is there anyway to limit what each user has access to?
