Hey. I have a wireless connection to my network at home and sharing works fine. I can access all other computers on my network.

When I get to school and use my laptop, sharing doesnt work. I can acess my logon servers but thats it. I can't even access by IP adress. Does anybody know why? At home, I have no security on my wireless, and at school, it has PEAP security where it uses your domain user name and password to give you acesss to the wireless.

One thing is that I do not actually have my laptop set up through the schools domain because I dont like the restrictions that they enforce; so what happens, when I first set up my wireless for my school, it will ask for my username and password and domain, and once thats all in, my identity would be validated and I would be allowed on the domain.

Someone please provide me some answers. Thanks very much

What would like to share?

Sharing other resources is not up to you (I.e. you can only set you own computer sharing), if the school system is Not set to share, or it would share according to their conditions, there is nothing you can do about it.

OK, so are you saying that its possible my school has blocked sharing? I am pretty sure that this is not the case because my friends are able to share and they have their laptop set up the same as I do, where it doesnt connect to the domain, just validates my identity by putting my passwords for the servers in control userpasswords2
