Sharing my desktop's dual monitors with my laptop?

Although my laptop has a 17" screen, I get tired of working on the smaller keyboard and squinting at the tiny text when I'm at home. My home system has a dual monitor setup and I'd like to find a way to use the desktop's dual monitors, keyboard, and mouse, with my laptop without having to disconnect/reconnect.

I found one product, Belkin's Flip, which allows the sharing of a single monitor/keyboard/mouse, and would like to achieve the same thing but using dual monitor sharing.

Any ideas?

TIA!

laptop with dual monitor support? seems to me like you'll need to use one of those matrox things. plug the kvm into the notebook and the destop, plug mouse and keyboard into the kvm, plug the matrox thing into the notebook, then plug the monitors into the matrox thing and the desktop. when you want to switch, switch from input 1 to 2 on each monitor (or however you've got it setup) and switch the kvm from desktop to notebook (either a switch on the kvm or a double-tap on the scroll lock key, usually).

Thanks for the input. I'm starting to think that if it's going to cost me ~ $200 ($160 for the Matrox thingy + whatever a KVM costs) I might just replace my twin 18" Dell monitors with a single 24" and then just find something like the Belkin Flip, but hopefully with DVI.

Is the Flip basically a KVM? I'm not even sure what a KVM is, other than some kind of switch.

If you get a Dell 24" dont worry about getting the belkin flip (all you need will be your keyboard/mouse switcheroo

becuase on the dell you cna just have your pc hooked through dvi and laptop through VGA!
