Sharing My Cable internet..What do I need?

I am a complete noooobbb at networking..what do i exactly need to share my cable internet connection for two computers. My isp tells me that it is impossible, and that i could only use the cable modem with one computer at a time, but i know there must be way to share the connection...i would appreciate all the help

thx..i ended up doing one of my own connections..

added a second NIC to PC
Connected cable modem to PC
Connected PC(using 2nd NIC) to HUB
Connecting my laptop to HUB

Configuring the PC to share the internet connections

Results=it worked, with no problems at all
