Sharing Internet Connection through Ubuntu

So I installed Ubuntu on my machine and now my head is spinning trying to get used to everything!

When I was running XP on both of my machines, I had two ethernet ports in one of my boxes. WIth this, i connected the modem to my 1st computer, and then this first computer to my laptop. I don't know how to do that with Linux/Ubuntu! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS-I have SAMBA installed (I think.) THanks all.
