Sharing in 2000

Is there a way to share files in 2000 over windows networking with out having specific users. I basically would like to share a folder or two using only passwords and no user names. I have people with win98 trying to access my shares and they can't b/c their names vary.

You cannot specify only a password to access a share, like that in Windows 9x. You either enable the GUEST account and give the GUEST account specific rights to the share so your users don't have to type in a user account.
