sharing folders

Hello, I have a folder shared on a computer running windows XP professional and i'm trying to access it from another computer on the same network running windows xp home edition. when i go into my network places the xo pro computer shows up and it lists all the folders that are shared, however when i try to access it, it says that i dont have permission to access it. i gave persmission to everyone to access the folder, what is the problem?
