Sharing folders in XP Pro

Under Win98/Me I was able to just assign a read or read/write password to a folder I wanted to share. I'm not looking for security just the ability to keep wide open shares closed unless needed to avoid (for one thing) viruses like BugBear spreading.

How the heck do I assing a simple password to a WinXP(Pro) folder so a user would have to enter it to access the folder ?
