Ok on the 1st floor is the AP with ip 192.168.0.1, it assigns ip 192.168.0.2 to a pc on the 2nd floor. There is no signal on the 3rd floor. So we bought another AP to put on the 2nd floor with that pc. The PC has a nic but I'm not sure or can't get the pc on the third floor to communicate with ip 192.168.01. Not a good explanation but I'm sure someone has run into this. thx

What you need good sir is a repeater or wireless range extender. I'm tired and going to bed. Look on NewEgg. 🙂

The thing that is hurting is the house is older is made of brick not drywall. I don't see any place on the AP/router to attach an antenna.
