Am I able to link to my podcast so people here can listen to it? I am not sure if me doing that will cause the thread to be locked. Any information would be helpful.

I dunno if you can do that or not, but I would check out your hypothetical podcast if you did.

For beginner podcasters, I recommend putting your podcast up on PodShow. Put your PodShow link in your sig. If you have a blog or something, make sure you make your podcast easy to subscribe to. You can also try submitting it to iTunes but good luck with that.

ETA - Looking at your link, I see that you're calling today's podcast 'Final Episode'. I wouldn't be inclined to subscribe if I saw that. Especially considering your last podcast before this one was put out on March 24th. If you want a successful podcast, you have to put out a regular show. That's if you keep on going.

You seem to know a lot about podcasts, have you considered starting your own? 😀

The thing though is that my panel of hosts do not want to do the show if they aren't a lot of people listening. So we wanted to go out with a bang. The website and the hosting service is paid for until the next of the year, if you guys here keep listening to it then maybe I will be able to keep it going. Just listen to the episode and tell me wat you think.

Just finished downloading it. I'll listen to it today and let you know what I think later. 🙂

And Ross, why yes I have. 😉

Anyone else want to take a listen and provide some feedback?
I'm sorry that I didn't respond earlier. You may not like what I say but here goes....

While your podcast wasn't exactly my cup of tea I can tell you this. It was very frustrating listening to it because only 2 of you had decent microphones and/or connections. One of the contributors could barely be heard while another sounded like the microphone was a part of his upper lip. Heavy breathing ftl. Also, if the mic isn't fixed, moving around will not help the quality much either. At times, it sounded like somebody was having a little 'extra' fun. 😉

I liked the musical transitions into each section and appreciated that the different sections were actually thought out ahead of time and that somebody actually tried to keep the podcast on course. Christian and the other guy that had a good mic were the best sounding of the podcast and the show would be better if it was the two of them with their friends as guests occasionally (as long as their mics were OK). You could also tell it was the two with the best mics trying to carry the show until the end when HB (Heavy Breather) took over during the Spiderman review.

Overall, the show isn't that bad at all. It would be best if the number of participants were narrowed down to those who knew what was going on and had a decent setup. Perhaps, the others could be invited as guests from week to week.

Another thing. Your site. Show notes should be maintained on your site. Also, the show notes link you have listed right now is not even a live link. You should allow comments on each podcast to help build a community. You should also post your podcast on multiple sites to help build up an audience because as I said your podcast isn't that bad aside from the mic problems. I've heard much worse and I think your cast would definitely appeal to younger males once you get some of the kinks worked out.

Good luck and I hope you keep podcasting.
