Sharing a local printer from a Mac to a PC

Got a department here that is almost entirely Macs (10.3), except two people who have both Macs and Windows XP laptops. One of these two people needs to be able to print from his laptop to an Epson photo printer that is connected locally (USB) to a nearby Mac. On the Mac I was able to share the printer and other Mac users can print to it now, but how do I make it accessible to Windows users?
 
I enabled Windows sharing on the Mac, and was able to connect to the printer. However it so far does not seem to respond when a print job is sent. Any ideas?
