Hi,

I am not too sure where to ask for this kind of help but I will give it a shot here. Basically I am troubleshooting one of our employees sharepoint issue. Basically he's at home trying to access his sharepoint using Firefox and Explorer and after giving the login credential, the page is just blank.

So basically on firefox, he puts https://sharepoint.companyname.com then it prompts the credentials, after that the page would just be blank he said. I am working at home as well but I am able to login just fine.

He said it works fine when he's in the office, but he rarely uses it though. Could be browser/windows issue? Or just his home network?

Thanks

Is he using his home machine to access it at home? Which version of IE and which version of Sharepoint? Are you using forms-based authentication or Windows?

That is strange, no error message?
Is a VPN required to access the site?

I have successfully logged in with Firefox and put in the domain/user name in the first box and then the password and it was fine.

Does he use a VPN connection from home? If he does, see if he can connect to Sharepoint through the VPN while in the office.
