SharePoint Download Sites?

I'm currently using SharePoint Services 3.0 to run my company's Intranet. Are there any websites that offer themes, webparts, and site templates for download? I've done some Google searching, but basically, I'm only finding the same files Microsoft offers on their website.
 
When i tested it out i could have sworn there were other themes already built into it.

Admited they were not all flashy all singing but were better than the original
 
I have the built-in list available. I was wondering if there were options to dowload and add more, aside from creating them with SharePoint Designer.
 
Did you ever figure anything out? I'm also interested in seeing what can be done w/o sharepoint designer.

I'm learning sharepoint too. Boy is it hard.
