Shared VRAM along with Dedicated VRAM

To satisfy Windows Vista requirement to have 64MB Video RAM, can I disable my dedicated Video Memory and set my computer to have shared memory?

Here's what I have:

Dell Inspiron 600m Laptop
1.6GHz Pentium M Processor 2MB L2 Cache

1GB RAM

32MB Dedicated Video RAM.

My goal is to share my 1GB RAM so that I can have 64MB of VRAM

Are there any utilities that can do this
or
If I just take out the video card from my laptop and the system automatically goes into Shared mode?

Thanks,
Kishore
