Shared Printer on Vista

I have a printer installed on vista and want to use it from a win xp pro SP2 system I installed the hotfix from MS site for vista to xp sharing and still can not get it to go? Can someone help me?

Actually can someone just do a rundown for me on what I should do so I can share the printer? Just so I can double check please.

You have to configure the Printer on Vista for sharing.

Then install the WinXP drivers for the printer on WinXP. choosing the printer as a Network accessed printer when you use the Add Printer wizard.

That part was key for me to get things going just the other day getting the SO hooked up to my printer. Once enabled in Vista things go a lot smoother.
