I have a small horizontal ridge on the back of my head, between my ears where they used the salad tongs to get me out. I suppose I could never make the bald look work.

COOL! But besides the ureter, it's normal for the kidney to expand to accommidate the lack of another kidney.

but i just found out today that when my mom was pregnant with me, it took my parents 5 months to figure it out. my mom thought she had a tumor, so they got an ultrasound. she was a nurse, my dad's a doctor. being pregnant never occurred to them.
