Computer with the printer(A) is using WIN2K and the computer(B) that want's to use it is running WIN98SE.
When computer B tries to Browse the network to computer A, computer B recevies a message asking for a password.
Were does that password get set? My administrator password does not work.
Help!
Thanks in advance

Either create an account for the win98 machine on the 2K machine (Control Panel>Users & Passwords...) or enable the guest account. I'd recommend not using the guest account for security purposes.

Would it be feasible to connect the printer to the Win98 machine? That would be the easy way out.

Otherwise (as Ladi has said) you need to create a user id on the Win2k machine that matches the user id that is being used on the Win98 machine. (If you are "logged in" as USER1 on the Win98 machine, you need to create a USER1 id on the Win2k machine.)
