Hello All,
I use to know this one, but since I only did it once I can't remember.
Three computers on a home network, two running WIN98SE and the one with the printer is running WIN2k.
Where and how do I setup my WIN2K to let the other computer use the printer?
Thanks in advance

You share the printer itself the same way you would in Win9X, right click, Sharing, choose SHARED, and give it a name. The big difference is permissions.

The Logged-in account on the 9X boxen will need permission to print to the printer on the 2K box. I just set this up at my brothers, and I had him log into the 9X boxes as "coreys" with blank password, then I created a user named "coreys" with a blank password as well, giving that user permission to print to the printer. Placing permissions on the printer is fairly easy in itself, you'll see the "permissions" button.

EDIT: You also may want to make sure that in the Network Control Panel on the 9X machines, they are using Client for Microsoft Networks (in the drop down, I forget what the title of the setting is). I believe that must be set to that to connect with the username and password to the 2K machine.

You can also install "Additional Drivers", specifically the Windows98 Drivers for the printer, then when they connect to the shared printer it will automatically download the drivers.

If this is not correct, someone please correct me. :D
