Share files between Mac and Win boxes on a LAN

My roomate and I want to share *.mp3 files and maybe other stuff amongst my PC's and his Mac. What is the easiest way?

Mac osx 10.2 eternet
PC1 XPHome ethernet
PC2 XPPro wireless
LinksysWRT54G

I need a solution that is extremely simple on the mac end

Set up one or two FTP servers on the Windows machines and install an FTP client on the Mac. Sit on the Mac and do the exchange.

It's possible to connect them on a higher level than FTP but I didn't follow this issue lately and can't estimate the effort or the problems that come with it.

Just use Samba, already built into OS10.2.

Create the shares on the Windows PCs, then on the OSX computer hit Apple+K to bring up the connect to server dialog, then for the server address type in smb://ip-address-of-computer.

To access the OSX from Windows, make sure that Windows File Sharing turned on in the Sharing panel of the System Preferences, setup the shares on the folders you want to share, and from Windows you can either browse through Network Neighborhoods or type in the IP of the OSX computer.

Very easy and quick.
