Share Files between 2 router

Hi,

I have 2 router and computers hook up to both router, I need to make it so that computers on both router can see each other and share files and printers.

Cable Modem

Are these SOHO devices? Is there a reason you're using a Router and creating different networks?

If there's no reason for 2 networks, then turn off the DHCP server on Router2B and only use the LAN ports (not the WAN port) to connect to Router1A and your other hosts. That should result in all of your computers and printers being on the same network.

Those are just regular consumer router.
I am using 2 router because I need 2 wifi, I am not trying to create 2 network.

I have a similar set up, except I use one router as the DHCP server & wireless b/g access point. the other router serves as my wireless-n access point. Google setting up a second router as a switch/access point.

thanks guys, here is what I did so far.

Router1A IP address 64.xx.xxx.xx Network 192.168.1.1 DHCP 192.168.1.50 - 100

Router1A connected to Router2B LAN to LAN port

Router2B IP address 192.168.1.151 DHCP OFF, but I can NOT set the Network address to 192.168.1.xxx.

Router2B (Netgear WNR2000v3) "The IP address conflicts with the WAN IP subnet. Please enter a different IP address"

did I miss a step somewhere?

You shouldn't need to specify any WAN IP for Router2B. You're only using the LAN ports. You're using it as a Switch and Wireless Access Point. The routing information (Like WAN IP Address) is only necessary if you're using it as a router.

I am doing this Remotely, It would be difficult to DD-WRT them.

Ok, something is wrong here.
I turn the DHCP OFF on Router2B, but the computers attach still getting IP address from this Router2B instead Router1A.

Router 2 must have clear WAN port. I.e., nothing connecting there.

If its empty WAN port is configured to an IP change the Core IP to something else of the same network.

It does have a EMPTY WAN port with the DHCP turn off.

I am going to return the router and get a Switch + AP.
