The link is in the post above you. It answers your question in full. Here I'll repost it just for you.

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/mensbasketball/sec/2011-05-16-lsu-shaq-maravich-statue_N.htm

They also took in account Pro Careers, :p.
Anything else? I think that should satisfy all requirements.
Ownt, lol.

Not so fast.

3. You still have not answer my questions:

a) What college did you graduate from and in what field since you were the one that brought college education/smarts topic up for strawman purpose.

b) Where are you links and sources for the thread that I pwned your ass last time? What is the matter? Racists got you down, again?

.................

Bring up the race baiting crap/bs? Are you freaking kidding us? Shall I bring up some of the many, many... many threads that you made excuses after excuses for certain race/group of criminals/perpetrators? Just say the word and I will list some of them for the whole world to see who is the REAL race baiter. Let the audience decide.

You were saying something about pwned? Who is laughing at who now?

Svnla made the first Shaq/Pistol Pete comment, and you jumped all over it. Why are you so stuck on it?
I saw Pete Maravich play, and he was second to none. If college basketball had been as big then as it is now, you would be roundly ridiculed for disparaging the greatest guard in the history of the game.

I have no problem with Shaquille O'Neal getting his statue, nor with Pete Maravich's omission from LSU's Hall of Fame, since he does not meet the graduation requirement. I will, however, repeat my note that Shaquille O'Neal's statue shall be dwarfed by the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in which Mr. O'Neal played.

Seriously are you smoking blunts? Next you'll be telling Dominque Wilkins was better than Jordan.

This is about as stupid of a comparison as there ever was. And I take nothing away for Pistol Pete at all. He was an amazing player in his own right. But he was no where near the level of player of Shaq. You have got to be kidding me. You couldn't find one basketball historian that would ever agree with you. This is just mind boggling.

Dude what is your fucking problem? You spouted some nonsense, you got proof you were wrong, now you turn it as usual into some side show. You wanna talk basketball and Shaq, good. I'll do that, but let the baby shit go at least for a damn day. You mature enough to do that?

What did I say in post #36 that was nonsense. POINT IT OUT. Or was that you in post #42 (NBA while I was talking about college)?

I never disputed the fact that Pistol did not have a degree while Shaq did (General Study...years after he left LSU). I am disputing whether you have one or not.

Can't use straw man anymore? You lose your "crying racist out loud" card?

I asked you two simple questions (because you brought the topic up) yet you are still unable/refuse to answer.

I was talking about Shaq and basketball, you were the fool, as usual, and now unable to answer a few simple answers.

You were saying pwned? LOL

What's that, Shaq didn't win in college
Shaq and Stanley Robert = Twin Towers plus Chris Jackson. Everybody thought LSU would be a dominate baskeball team. Sadly, they didn't even make it, not even Sweet 16.
and Pistol should have a statue first.

Well......

O'Neal's individual accolades include the 1999–2000 MVP award, the 1992–93 NBA Rookie of the Year award, 15 All-Star game selections, three All-Star Game MVP awards, three Finals MVP awards, two scoring titles, 14 All-NBA team selections, and three NBA All-Defensive Team selections. He is one of only three players to win NBA MVP, All-Star game MVP and Finals MVP awards in the same year (2000); the other players are Willis Reed in 1970 and Michael Jordan in 1996 and 1998. He ranks 5th all-time in points scored, 5th in field goals, 12th in rebounds, and 7th in blocks.

...more classless drivel...
I do not suffer idiots gladly, so I shall bow out of this discussion now.

My apologies to any offended by my part in the diversion of the Shaquille O'Neal homage thread, and all respect to one of the greatest centers of all time at both the NCAA and NBA levels.

I have a little time before I need to run out so I can play your game for a while longer.

What year did LSU make the Final 4 with Shaq/Stanley/Chris? Zero and none. Not even sweet 16.

Where did I say Pistol should have a status first? POINT IT OUT. You lied, again.

I did not ask for Shaq's NBA stats (my original post was about LSU). I WAS/AM ASKING for your credentials since you brought up college graduation as your main argument. GED and/or paper mill college does not count, sorry.

Must. Not. Laughing. Too. Hard.

Shaq also earned an MBA. It wasn't from Harvard, but you trying take a cheap shot, doesn't change the fact he earned some solid educational credentials as well.

College graduation? For who, you? I stated the reason Pistol probably didn't have a statue was because he didn't graduate from college. The link states that and more. I don't know how my college degree plays into this though. I am trying to understand your college stance.

Again let's clarify. You spouted some Pistol Pete no statue nonsense. I countered with Shaq's pro career. You stated it was about college. But both were outstanding college players. I then stated based on a link that Pistol did not graduate from college so he isn't in the LSU Hof either. Which I said was probably the reason for no statue. You complained about links, then some other thread where you want to argue over race. I post a link that shows I was right about pro career and non graduation.

You then go on the college thing with me? Why? But, okay...................

classy, what did they teach you in college.....oh wait, let rephrase that, my bad. LOL.

What did they teach you in high school? You did go to HS, right? or was that GED?

Again, you lied.

In the post that you quote me, you stated it was about Shaq's NBA (post #42). Another poster pointed out the stupidity and you backtracked <shamelessly, as usual>.

I never complained about your link(s) or how great Shaq was in NBA. I was trying to make you answer a question or two. Again, you lied.

Then you brag about how Shaq has a degree and Pistol did not as your main argument/support for the rest of your posts. That is why I want to know if you have one since you were the one that brought that (college graduation/smarts) up. Very simple question to answer.

The other question about that thread, we all know you've got your ass pwned hard by me (and now you are still bitter because of it) because it had been several weeks and you still unable to provide links as I requested. So who was/is lying again?

Oh I see.

First the cheap shot at Shaq's degree only in General Studies. But when I post Shaq has an MBA, then you change your post to take another cheap shot with the GED/paper mill comment.

I see your angle with this.

Shaq owns

Anymore Pistol Pete arguments? LOL

More ownage, lol

It was about the NBA with Shaq, I quote

LSU associate athletic director Herb Vincent said O'Neal was chosen for several reasons.

"He is LSU's only athlete (all sports) who was college player of the year and an MVP of his pro sport ," Vincent said.

It was also about the fact that Pistol did not graduate, I quote

"He is also the most well known former LSU athlete worldwide. He graduated............

Maravich did not graduate from LSU.

LOL is there anything else.

Who cares about statues? Pete Maravich has the basketball arena (PMAC) and the new basketball practice facility named after him
