I just watched this movie on DVD today and loved it! I need to add more Steven Chow movies to my netflix queue. Did you like Shaolin Soccer ?

Any recommendations for those of us who liked SS Aquaman?

I usually like my martial arts films serious, even if they're over the top like Kill Bill 1, but SS was a good fun movie.

A couple of slightly silly movies that were good: Chiniese Ghost Story, The Heroic Trio

Some more serious ones: Iron Monkey, Fist of Legend

I didn't find Iron Monkey a serious movie DaveSimmons, but I did enjoy it a lot

I heard a martial arts movei called "The 5 venoms or the 5 deadly venoms" is really good Although stephen chow is not in them.

I downloaded it before it arrived to the US and loved it. I have Shaolin Soccer on DVD (official US release) now. I didn't like Kung Fu Hustle (which I assume you know is Chow's "current" movie) as much. They went overboard with the effects.

serious compared to SS anyway

Ever see Mr. Vampire ? Old cheesy Sammo Hung movie, definitely not serious.
