Ears everywhere are rejoicing....

Heh that is true. Hopefully Collinsworth is next.

When Sharpe was playing in the NFL he always sounded really smart when being interviewed. I thought he'd make a good analyst one day...annnd I was wrong.

Anyone know what the deal is with Jay Mariotti? Ah hell I'll just google it.

I think he can provide decent comic relief here and there and for the most part I think he's at least average as far as intelligence goes. His major problem is that his speech sounds like he's permanently under the influence of Novocaine and has no feeling in and thus little control over his lips. Combine that with a tendency to talk to fast and it gets pretty bad.

I've been skipping most of those pre/post game shows because most of them don't really add anything worthwhile. I'll use the time better to get stuff done around the house before I veg for a few hours with the game.

He is also in some kind of child support flap with another woman as well.

Man, can you imagine a pregame show with Jimmy Johnson, Terry Bradshaw, Michael Irvin, and Shannon Sharpe? Your speakers would probably explode from all the yelling.

Shannon has issued a statement on the allegations but it was too loud and inaudible for anyone to understand.

Collinsworth is a cocky, arrogant douche and I think I'd rather listen to .. sigh.. Buck than that asshole.

I'm going to go out on a limb here... I don't mind Buck at all (though Baseball is his calling) Collinsworth is decent enough. Not great. But tolerable.

Wow, that's quite a statement.

It is, but true. Collinsworth does give some good insight on occasion, but he is still an ass at times. I hate that he is the voice of the Madden game now.

But in fairness to Chris, he has mellowed quite a bit in the last few years and IS getting better. He was just awful a few years ago.

You mean we won't have to listen to his mush mouth and look at those ridiculous suits anymore?

Chris Collinsworth is one of the few that actually knows what they're talking about when it comes to breaking down a game. I actually enjoy listening to him, which is saying something considering most NFL broadcasters make me want to stab myself in the ear.

He is still a distant third in my book to Aikman and Jaws in terms of color commentary.

Don't get your hopes up, because it is technically a "leave" so he could come back or possibly even worse, be backfilled with someone like Deion Sanders or Michael Irvin. Remember the crap Deion used to wear? D:

Haha that group would be incredibly annoying. Maybe add in a little Deion Sanders to boot.

I do like ESPNs NFL countdown group. Provides good entertainment regularly.

with Boomer, Keyshawn, Ditka, Carter, and Tom Jackson.

This, he's awesome.

I actually can't watch any pre-game, in-studio shows. It's all just a bunch retards yelling at each other and laughing maniacally at unfunny BS. So freaking terrible.
