Shameless self promotion, check out the first site I developed!

Sorry for the crosspost; this is a branch off of the thread in software/programming.

I have programmed the backend for CBC Radio 3, let me know what you think. The site is a branch of the governement funded Canadian Broadcasting Corporation that is striving to promote indie Canadian music.

BTW looks good

Sorry, I am still working on integrating my own Rush related easter egg 😉

Except for the fact that I see the word "Canada" on the webpage, I like it Mucman

One suggestion, have a "quick" way to mute the audio for those that don't know that a red box means stop 🙂

lol, radio3

I usually listen to One for news (as it happens & overnight) but enjoy DNTO from time to time on sundays - it's always One for me though not Two or Three... sorry but nice site anyways

Martin, I'm responsible for the entire server side backend. The site is written in C#/ASP.Net 2.0 and utilizes a SQL Server backend. So my part was to write all the authentication stuff (custome providers), data access stuff (again, implemented the provider model), and wrote and the SQL stuff. The CMS supports granular permission levels and made a custom Image Management application. entire web team consisted of myself, a graphic designer, a sys-admin, an html/css person, and a team lead.

Zim, interesting observation! Do you think some text on the buttons would make things more clear?

UNESC0, Radio 3's primary focus is indie Canadian music, but with this new site we are hoping to create a community for Canadian culture as well. Radio 3 has always been online but is launching a 24/7 station on Sirius satellite (launch for that is in 5 hours). Part of the Radio3 team consists of some people who used to work on DNTO.

Ameesh, just what I need! More beer 🙂

I have no interest in coding, but I'll keep the page playing in an extra tab as long as nothing high pitch starts screaming at me. 🙂
