**Shameless Recruiting Threads lost stickyness** **RESTICKIMIFICATION!!**

Just noticed the Shameless Recruiting Threads have lost their stickyness

Thanks Mods for putting them up, it has helped out all projects. Would it be possible for them to be re-stickified for a while longer? They really are doing the job well

On the 30th September (when the threads went up), the Seventeen or Bust Team had 175 members.

As of yesterday night, we have 199 members (5 of them coming back from ORU to us, returning members as such, not to do with recruiting threads)

Which means that we have gained about 20 members, or about an 11% increase in members (if you're looking at it like that!)


And, at the end of August (a month before the recruiting threads went up), we had 165 members, end of September 155, end of August 140 members, end of May 122 members...

Folding@Home has been doing worse lately than we have in the past.

Perhaps if the threads were extended, we might gain a few more members...

BTW, the Seti TeAm picked up 38 new members during the period in question.

OK folks, here's the deal. We have two more weeks [Edit: make that 60 more days!] of the recruiting threads!

So let's make the best of it while it lasts.

Don't get discouraged with the news that they are going to end for we will most likely be able to put them back up again after a reasonable period of time.

And don't ask me what is a "reasonable period of time", for that is always a judgement call by our AnandTech Moderators.

AND REMEMBER, SMOKEBALL IS "NOT" AN ANANDTECH MODERATOR!
