thanks for the replies guys. i'm working on getting lyrics up. editing that menu everytime i add something is getting to be a real pain in the butt. the html file alone is nearly 30K! that's the price i pay for those nifty randomly placed buttons. might be time to get organized.

Who are your main influences?

You sound just a little off during some parts of the vocals.. No offense, just constructive critisizm. I know it's not easy to sing.. I wish I could sing half as good as you. Maybe a little more soul in it, too.. but that's just my personal preference. The sound on the album may be just exactly the way you want it, I don't know.

Hmm... You should check your MP3s, I'm getting a lot of blips and skips.. anyone else getting that? I don't think it's my computer, I've been listening to mp3s for hours.. lol

weird, someone else said the mp3's were skipping too, but they play fine on all the computers i've tested them on. maybe i'll re-rip them.

my main influences are alternative stuff like smashing pumpkins, tool, sigur ros, radiohead, bjork, etc, and emocore stuff like thursday, jimmy eat world, taking back sunday, cursive, get up kids, etc.
my drummer's influences are at the drive-in, mars volta, foo fighters, latin rock groups, etc.
we've got a bassist now (doesn't appear on the mp3's) who's mainly into at the drive-in, thursday, and more traditional punk stuff.

yeah, you're right about the vocals. i was struggling with a head cold and losing my voice when we were tracking vocals, but even when i'm healthy i'm not exactly the strongest singer in the world.
