These were taken tonight after watching the season premiers of Prison Break and Heroes with some friends. I took them in my car when I got home. My loverly sweater is in the background.

The member I met today was giantpinkbunnyhead. He lives in Alaska, but was in L.A. to visit family. He drove up here to spend most of the day visiting with me. We met at my cousin's restaurant (A Mexican restaurant where I meet most of my friends.). From there we went to Pismo Beach. He got to see/walk on the beach for the first time in a really long time. He had no idea what sand dollars wereshocked, so I had to find him a whole one. Then we walked all around Pismo, had a drink and some dessert (he had a brownie ice cream concoction that was delicious and I had a side of fruit) and a drink, then we went to the Old Village of Arroyo Grande and walked all around there. I took him into a pizza joint called Klondike's Pizza. There's all kinds of stuff from Alaska in there, so I thought it might be cool for him to see. We played a couple of video games (geeks much?) and he looked around at the stuff and told me the stories behind some of it. Then it was almost time for him to go home, so the last stop was a video game store so he could look for a game he wanted. (Unfortunately it wasn't there.)

Sixth through eighth is me in front of a Smart Car. (That's what he called it.) I'd been wanting to look at it because I hadn't seen one before. Then, of course, I had to romance the hell out of it.
Ninth and tenth are he and I. (I should have worn my sunglasses. :|)
Tenth and eleventh are of him playing a video game. (We are dorks, afterall.)
Twelfth and thirteenth are of him on the stairs by an Iditarod map.

I forgot to show you the jawbreaker he bought me. We went into HOTLIX and, though the homepage doesn't show it, it has a huge variety of candy. (They started out with Cinnamon suckers and I can't remember if it was spearmint or peppermint suckers.) I love jawbreakers and forgot they sold them there. So...he got me one. FTW! :thumbsup:
