Ok ok... To all anti-war, pacifists, and other people who'd rather let the bad guys have their way: What do your solution to this problem??

I suppose you are saying, "hey, if we just shake it off maybe they'll stop" or "Wanting peace in Middle East is something we shouldn't have to bother with". Do you think the United States is involved with Middle Eastern countries because we want conflict? Sure there are economic reasons but we certainly don't like war breaking out. Also, after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, the United States shoulda just let it go right? What the hell is wrong with you antiwar people.

<< use war is no different from terrorist attacks except that it is done openly and more violently. I personally believe terrorism is the only way the weak fight against the powerful. Who wants to sacrifice their lives? No one, including terrorists. >>

Yeah right, so the terrorists accidently drove out 3 planes into buildings with many civilians. Sure, they didn't want to lose their lives.
So you believe that terrorism is "ok" because its the only way... the only way to do what? Show your hatred for the United States and other countries? Who's side are you on? War is different from terrorism. If you get down to the basics, its the same: people killing people. But the motive is different here. Osama is a religious extremist who uses the name of Islam to justify his attacks. Do you want the United to just accept what he is doing like the WTC tragedy? We are not in a war against Islam. We are in a war against Terrorism and it just so happens that Osama is in Afganistan, a country whose retarded government supports terrorism. Jihad my ass.

Their solution is to hope for a better future without doing a damn thing to help bring that about.

How many bodies were pulled from the rubble of the WTC? Doubt those folks are dead too? If Laden was in one of those underground bunkers, and there is a good chance he is or was, we may never see his body. I doubt he's gonna go down like Slobodan Milosevic.

Then again, maybe we could just send an entourage of darkies over there to talk him out of his evil ways...

I do know this, the last we have seen of Bin Laden was a video produced sometime after the world trade center attacks..some think only a few days afterward by the statements made. The latest videos have not had him in them. You would think they would at least have their hero standing by thier side to spurn on the Islamic support. I guess we wont know till he surfaces again, at least in a later video.

First of all, i cant believe that so many people are so close minded about one side or the other.

Second of all, these terrorists did want to die! They were very willing to lose their lives. Hence the Suicide Attacks.

Lastly, I think the US bombings are more focused on dismanteling the terrorist producing machine of the Al-Qaida. If that involves taking out a few pistons and then whacking the hell outta it with a hammer, then so be it. Maybe there is a better way to take it apart, but this is our Governments way.

As for my beliefs, i think they organization should be taken apart. As for how, thats not my choice to make, so im unwilling to make it. Do I know every option that exists? Hellz no. Theres more then two options. I do believe that some action had to be taken though, and im glad to see that it has been, but in no way do i feel better about myself or the situation because of what bombing has taken place.
