Shallow Poll of the Day: Body or Face?

I'm not sitting here saying looks are everything. But let's say you're about to date/bed/hang out with some girl (or guy, depending on your preference). Are you more likely to go for a girl with a fabulous body with a mediocre face, or a gorgeous face with a mediocre body? I'm not talking about facial hair or 300lbs, either, just average versus outstanding. :)

My gf and I were talking about this, I'm just curious if I'm like most other guys. ;)

The existence of the gorgeous face, mediocre body creature is an exceedingly rare occurance. It just almost never happens. If the face is great, the body is almost always at least good.

The gorgeous body, mediocre face creatures are common (Anglina Jolie is my top example, and I'll be flamed for saying that).

Thus by statistics alone, if you get a gorgeous face, you are almost always going to be quite well off. Thus, I vote face. If all you know is that the face is good, you should be just fine. You cannot say that about the body.

Plus, bodies can be easilly corrected (diet, excercise), faces cannot. Sure, you can have a face lift or a nose job, but neither of those proceedures can turn a real ugly mug into a beautiful one.

I disagree. I know quite a few people who have very pretty faces but leave a lot to be desired below the neck.

i've seen girls from behind w/ nice bodies, but when they turn around and are busted in the face, *shudder*. otoh, i've seen girls w/ real pretty faces and not so great bodies.....it's much easier to find them more attractive, imo.

on a strictly shallow level of course ;)

It's the gorgeous face that deluded your judgement on the body. If you have never seen her face, you'll make more objective observations on the body. So I say the face is the more important here.

Face. But if you're talking about just getting laid then a 750ml of Vodka will cure that problem temporarely. That or a burlap bag with a nice snorkal for her to breathe out of.

Face definitly. Though really it's more a middle ground thing (always is). I wouldn't date a girl who had a beautiful face but was more than just a little "thick" (talking all over, not just junk-in-the-trunk). Especially if I found out her parents were overweight/obese.
