Shall i get a board that can have raid and SATA?

wouldnt feel the need to pay any extra for it, unless you're going to use it, but most decent boards seem to come with it anyway, and having it is no loss. SATA connectors might be useful for if you need more storage sometime later perhaps, SATA drives will get faster than the PATA ones eventually (probably when its all SATA300 ;)).

actually.. i wana build a new system.. and let it be in use for another few years lor.. so. it wou;d need to be able to acomdomate future's technology.. hmm.. wonder if i make myself clear. my english is not very good.. :|

That helps a little.

Most drives will be SATA in a few years, so SATA is good. SATA = :)

RAID is not needed by most people. RAID makes games load fast. RAID does not make games run fast, RAID does not increase frames per second. RAID = :( :confused: ?
