Shaky monitor display

I'm noticing that my screen on my Samsung Syncmaster 750s is shaking. It's mostly in the bottom, by the tray and start menu. Do you guys know why this might be?

The drivers are updated and everything...

It's securely attached to my Radeon 9200se.

However, it may have something to do with the fact that I just tried to set up a dual-monitor display. I plugged in an old vga card from a '95 pentium mmx. and of course it's just plain too old and sucky and windows can't even use it. That's when I noticed the screen shaking slightly. I thought it might have to do with the large draw of power from the motherboard, so I powered down and unplugged the old vga card, and booted er up and it's still like this. :/

lol. nope. It just appears a little "jittery" in the bottom

Raise the refresh rate or smack the crap out of it. Sometime a good whack makes the wobbles go away. I am assuming of course that its not near a fan or AC or such.

Wow, thanks it seems to have worked. Just cranked it up to 85Hz.

Hehe, it does in my 24 yrs of IT. Old IBM PS2 model 50 hard drives not spinning? Whack em! Always worked. But in Stews case i;m glad the refresh worked. I once recommended the same "whack the monitor" fix to someone once but he hit it so hard it fell off the desk.

Another possible cause for these "shaking displays" is any kind of interference from high voltage power lines, etc.

I had a CRT monitor that was a few inches above some AC power cords for a few months. It shook near the cords. I have since moved teh cords 4ft way and it still wobbles in the area where the cords used to be. Is it gonna be like this forever?

Well the end results were the same. Monitor fell off the desk and broke. Bought a new monitor that wasn't screwed up! Excellent Fix there!;-)

Yeah I was gonna guess EMI but I guess not.
