Shakespeare quote question

i've always liked this quote from Macbeth, but i'm not sure whether it's:

"Come what come may, Time and THE hour runs through the roughest day"

or:

"Come what come may, Time and hour runs through the roughest day"

i like the second version better, but i think its the first. discuss.
