im trying to get some paraphrasing done off shakespears 'king lear'. I was wondering if i paraphrased these correctly:

Kent: Did your letters pierce the queen to any demonsrtation of greif?
My Paraphase: Did the letters move her?

Kent: ay sir she took them read them in my presence and now and then an ample tear down her delicate cheek it seemed she was a queen over her passion who most rebel like sought to be king o er her.
My Paraphase: Yes, she cried

Kent: Well sir the poor distressed Lear's I the town what are we come about, and by no means will yield to see his daughters.
My Paraphase: Lear Wont See his daughters

Kent: Why Good Sir
My Paraphase: Good Sir

Kent: A soveriegn shame so elbows him his own kinglness that stripped her from his benadiction turned her to his dog hearted daughters these things sting his mind so vemously that burning shame detains from Cordelia.
My Paraphase: He is so ashamed that he gave all his power to his evil daughters instead of Cordelia that he cannot bring himself to face her.

thats it. this is a group project and my 'partner' supposedly did this paraphasing. I dont understand shakespear very well but i dont want this kid bringing everyones grade down. the spelling is difficult too, and im sorry.. his penmenship is horrible considering he never uses his hand to write in school. thx

It is no vicious blot, murder, or foulness,
No unchaste action, or dishonoured step,
That hath deprived me of your grace and favour;
But even for want of that for which I am richer,
A still-soliciting eye, and such a tongue
As I am glad I have not, though not to have it
Hath lost me in your liking.

I love King Lear

Alright, I am stuck on 4 of these 40 questions, I know what they mean but I dont know what to look for in Shakespearian lanquage

Act 4 (All Scenes), Examples of:

Pun:
Personification:
Dramatic Irony:
Oxymoron:

Link To Act 4

I for one, dont even understand what I pun is, "A play on words" I hear.. but I still dont even know what that definition means!! Garrsh, and as for the others, 30 minutes trying to find any one of those has really got me.. i found examples of monologues, soliloquy?s, hyperbole's, simile?s, aside's, and others but i don?t know the first thing about the above
