I'd like to check out Shake Shack. I like In N Out, but prefer 5 guys for fast food burger. I've found a few joints that blow them away, but they don't have many locations. People have been telling me about Burger Island (DFW small chain), and I was like 'okay, whatever', because people are always raving about some place or other and it just turns out to be okay, but I finally got one and holy crap it was fantastic. 1/2lb patty, perfectly cooked, perfect bun, perfect real fries, and it was like $4.29 for the burger and $1.79 for a box of fries that fed three people. I don't know how they do it.

I grew up near Burgermaster, they are pretty good and the shakes are great, but are a drive in. You don't see many of those left, where they come to your car to take the order and deliver the food. I have not tried INO or SS, but I do prefer Burgermaster over Five Guys.

Sonic has that, but I pu their burgers around the worst. Tater tots are the best.

I've only had Shack Shack.

My experience was fantastic. Best fast food burger I've ever had. The only issue is there is so much fat in the patty that you can't eat it more than once every month or two.

We only have 5 guys here. I enjoy it especially the cajun fries.

Most terrible side dish in America (health-wise): Five Guys Large Fries

http://health.yahoo.net/experts/eatthis/top-10-terrible-side-dishes

#1: WORST SIDE DISH IN AMERICA
Five Guys Fries (Large)
1,474 calories
71 g fat (14 g saturated)
213 mg sodium

If you ate one large order of these things every week for a year, you would take in more than 8 pounds of pure fat, all of it straight out of Five Guys’ deep fryer. What makes these fries so monumentally unhealthy? The portion—one order clocks in at a staggering 1.25 pounds. (And that doesn't include the extra fries they throw in the bag!) Your best bet is to downsize to a "regular" size and split them with a friend, or order the large and split it with five guys.

I think In n Out is probably the most overrated fast food chain. Not the worst at all, but low. I haven't had shake shack.
.

Holy fuck I agree with Craig.

You guys who like INO need your taste buds examined. Bland, dry meat, with all the "taste" coming from the buttered bun and the thousand island goop. Epic fail.

INO is never dry for me, and I don't get mine on a bun or with dressing. Protein style with just cheese and it's always delicious.

Seriously? How is this even a contest? The cheese on FG burgers isn't even melted.

Heh, this. Never understood why so many people have a hard-on for that joint. It's ok as far as fast food chains go, but it's very from great.

Never heard of Shake Shack. In n Out is way better (and cheaper) than 5 guys. You really can't compare the 2 price-wise though. If you are going to compare 5 guys, then you should put it against Fuddrucker's or something (which is also better than 5 guys).

to me, yours always have been for liking that overpriced shit.

lol @InO being called overpriced. I mean, I've heard a lot of complaints about InO but overpriced sure as fuck aint one of them.

I even picked the most expensive InO I've ever seen.

INO fan here. Had Five Guys and it was good but not as good as INO. It's an alternative when I want but I have 2 INO close to me and Five Guys is out of the way so gues who gets the business? Anyway, that Shake Shack looks really good.
