This isn't meant to be a hardware discussion so I put it in OT.

So I was googling around and reading random DDR3 reviews.

OCZ 6gb 1600 DDR3
Patriot Viper 6gb DDR3 1600 review

and I noticed the graphs are the exact same. What's more is when you click on the properties for the jpg, its URL is:

http://benchmarkreviews.com/images/reviews/memory/OCZ3P1333LV6GK/Lavasys_Everest_Triple-Channel_DDR3.png

Uhmm. Ok. That's not even the same memory. The only reason I even opened 2 windows was because these two memories are very similar and some sites just don't know how to benchmark. I was hoping I could compare the two graphs to compare the two modules but it turns out it's just the same graph.

I suppose it could be a mistake, but I think it's kinda lame to write both articles the exact same and just have a [INSERT PRODUCT NAME HERE]. Those 2 pages at the top are almost identical. WTF.

Ok, and there's maybe a chance I'm just reading this all wrong and there's a reason they used the same graph over and over again? If so, tell me I'm retarded.

As soon as I read your thread title I thought Tom's Hardware ...

Anyway,

If I had to guess I would say that BenchmarkReviews made a mistake. Seems the most likely explanation.
