Ok, so I can't figure out what the issue is so figured I would ask.
Current Specs:
4k Screen
i7 4790
32GB DDR3
GTX 780 x2 SLi
500GB 850 Evo
Windows 10 64 Pro
So, this system is working off of a very fresh/clean install of Windows 10. I plan to use it to send a feed from my real gaming system that is under construction currently for encoding/streaming (and will do it at 1080p).
But in the meantime I figured i would record a bit of 4k gameplay for fun. (If this doesnt work, it is FAR from the end of the world).
I am just using Shadowplay as its is already installed with GFE. Trouble is, Shadowplay only shows 1440p as the max recording res. I am testing with BL PreSequel as it is one of the few games that dual 780's will run maxed at 2160. The game is set to 2160 and is playing at that res but still Shadowplay only shows 1400. If I set Shadowplay to capture "Resolution: In-Game" I still get 1440.
