You asked that if I resolved my hijacker problem to let you know....and you spent time helping me....one of the very very few on ANY of the other sites, and I promised to tell you, so here it is:
If you all search for my username and find one of the first ones you will see a fairly complete description of my problem. Primarily my IE web page was being hijacked, and NOTHING helped....
....except this:

This little program worked like a charm. This bit of text being included here may help others to use the above program.

How to completely and safely remove SSearch.biz Hijacker
See symptom of SSearch.biz
SSearch.biz is an IE browser hijacker. It always changes your IE homepage to "ssearch.biz". Simply changing your homepage back doesn't work, By Adware Away, You can completely and safely remove SSearch.biz without doing any harm to your computer. Please follow the steps below :
1. Run Adware Away, Close all IE windows ( important )
2. Click 'Spcialized Remover' in left panel.
3. In 'Specialized Remover' panel, click 'Hijacker Away'.
4. Look for 'SSearch.biz Hijacker' in right window and highlight it ( just click its icon ).
( If you can't find it in step 4, please do an online update, restart Adware Away and do from step 1 )
5. Click to completely remove it.
6. During removal, your desktop will disappear, don't worry about it, it will be back at next startup.
7. Reboot computer.

Just to let you know shad.......spywareinfo.com sent me a VIRUS!!

I tried sending the moferator of that site a message, but I was not able to get a message thru. I sent one off but I do not think it was directed to the moderator, and none of the others were available either, and I met up with a dead link. So I do not take, from that, that they are interested in correspondences. If you know any of those folks, you might want to let them know. They were of no help to me whatsoever on the forum eitehr. So you may want to direct others that you cannot help to another site.
I would suggest computercops.com, or teh computer section of answerway.com. The latter is a better site in my opinion, and that is where I found out about my fix.
I thank you again shad for taking time to try and help. I appreciated it, and hopefully this will help you help others too.
